I was at the Dekalb game, kind of depressing. No band in The Yard, lack of food, just a half-hearted effort for opening day.

And then we had a 1 or 2 game improvement then slip right back to mediocrity. We'll see if they stick to it this time, and carry it into basketball season

I doubt it will improve in the long term. This problem has existed for many years.

It’s a step in the right direction. I’m surprised there is no ticket promo for this game.

Attendance 6-9k concessions should be short lines and plenty of stuff

Games? Not to nitpick, but just how many are the Huskies playing?

Anyway, good to see some action taken to clean up the concession, etc., fiasco. Hopefully it will stick. Even more, hopefully it will help overcome the impact of that "situation." If NIU can get enough people to return who say had a great time, maybe.

Glad they recognized there were issues and have owned it, and have attacked them head on. That's the first step to successfully improving anything. Hope they can execute and deliver a better experience. I give the athletic department props for communicating this properly. It was just surprising after an entire offseason and summer leading up to the season they couldn't come up with a proper plan going into the home opener. Oh well...
