They have 8 for football and 8 for hoops right now

Yup, you are correct my bad

The AAC has been genius in how they orchestrated their geography to be able to pull from East and West... right down to naming the league The American. They've crafted a place for the league in which they can draw well-known brands from either side and perhaps cement their identity with the academies.

It may not be Boardwalk and Park Place but they're on the Green properties if they pull this off.

Colorado State isn't leaving the MWC unless the conference loses other members. Air Force might leave but in all honesty no one would shed a tear. I doubt they leave as well though. There is gonna be a lot of disappointed people in this forum. MWC renegotiated their contract in three years and are bring told it could double. They are not leaving that.

Ah nothing like message board fan BS.

UTSA is a better football than Charlotte. Charlotte us the biggest bust ever.

I hate to have to defend Charlotte, but they literally started playing football less than a decade ago and moved from not having football at all to playing FBS football in 2 years. Proclaiming any long term statement about them is just making things up out of whole cloth.

Both Charlotte and UTSA started football around the same time. UTSA got a P5 scalp under their belt.

What does having a “P5 scalp” have to do with anything? Didn’t Charlotte beat Duke this year?

Delusion can be helpful at times. I know as a UTEP fan it has come in handy from time to time.
