Thanks for posting that.
On a related note the MWC already has five P5 wins, by four different members, and would have six if not for the officials robbing BSU of a TD near the end of today's one-point loss to Oklahoma State.
By comparison the AAC has two, and one of those was by Cincinnati who is exiting the conference.
That may be true, but three of the AAC second-tier teams do deserve a little credit for playing very close, hard-fought games vs. P5 schools.
Tulane lost by only 5 to #2 Oklahoma, 35-40
ECU lost by only 3 pts to (P5) South Carolina, 17-20
Tulsa lost by only 5 pts to (P5) Oklahoma St., 23-28
.
The AAC hasn't had as much success vs. P5 teams, but has won about 3/4 of its games vs. G5 teams, and was ranked #6 among the FBS conferences after week 2. The MWC was ranked #8. The AAC teams won 60% of their games this weekend, and the MWC teams won 50% of theirs.

BTW - - credit where credit is due - - kudos to SDSU for winning a whale of a ballgame vs. Utah in triple overtime, and to Fresno State for pulling out a stunning come from behind last-minute win vs. UCLA, and Boise State took Oklahoma St. down to the wire before losing by a single point. In addition, CSU won what might turn out to be an important game for their program @ Toledo.
*CBS's Chip Patterson ranks Fresno State #24 in his projected top 25 poll.
Meanwhile, bleacherreport.com predicts that SDSU will be ranked #23

Great job of representing the G5 conferences!
