I think it's safe to say that USF is going to end that 10-game active losing streak. Gotta' start somewhere.

Bulls win 38-17

Sloppy second half, questionable coaching decisions.

We are were I thought we would be 1-2

I like the win but this is maybe a 4 win team unless something happens to make them “click”.
Gap assignments are bad. Tackling still looks like High School and the offensive okay calling at time makes me wonder if our OC just likes to show he can really mix it up, or just hates calling plays that work more than once in a series.

Anyone predicting or expecting more than 4 wins this year was smoking some heavy crack.

We had a QB circus which hopefully now is settle but is freshman so there will be some head scratching plays. But an improvement.

Our DLine is undersized and not very good. We won’t be stopping many teams from scoring 30+ points on us.

The offense is inconsistent and we don’t have a RB that can break a game, we have a RB by committee, some are good but none special

WRs, Weaver is the only standout so far and they are still as a whole inconsistent.

You pair that with an Out of Conference Schedule of AT NCST, Florida-and BYU and those are three loses right there.

I still stand that if this team goes 3-9 or 4-8 it would be a successful season, specially if we found our QB.

Scott needs to recruit and get some transfers specially on Defense for next year.

RE: *** FAMU at USF***
A lot of good happened in first half. McClain looked mostly sharp. He had a lot of drops. The second half got sloppy. I am puzzled why Scott pulled McClain at the end of 3rd and put in Marsh. McClain needed more time to work on things. Agree we have several good RB's but no great ones. Battie is our most electric back but he's tiny. So we will mostly have a Running back by committee. Outside of Weaver at WR, someone needs to step up. I don't know how long Williams was lost for, but that could be a big loss.

Improvement is being made and USF will win 4 games this year. Big improvement can happen if McClain takes off in his development. It's too early to say how much that will happen this year, but I am hopeful it will happen.

I’ve heard the QB rotation is an attempt to keep them. We have three guys who all think they should be starters.
At this point, McClain has shown he should be #1 but
Marsh is talented. Might use both for a while.

Huge win. Say what you want about Scott but he’s undefeated against FCS teams - thats something they wish they could say in Tallahassee this year

Williams will be gone, he won't see more than the end of the bench. I don't think Fortin is gong anywhere, he already transferred once. Marsh will possibly be gone at the end of the year. I agree, they are trying to keep him happy, but I doubt it will work unless McClain gets injured.

I think they can keep marsh if he gets second Reps, and then maybe try him on some trick plays. Played WR at one point in his career, and he’s a talented athlete. Just gotta find him more ways to get in the game.

I think we can all agree, this is McClains team now. Whole different energy when he’s in the game.
