RE: Mountain West commissioner pushes back against possible poaching from AAC
Interesting article with some good info. If the AAC can convince AF and Colorado St to join it seems like they'd have a good chance to get Army. Having all three service academies in one conference would be cool and attractive to TV I would think. Plus, Army would likely be FB only so you can bring in basketball help with a BB only invite.
UAB
Air Force
Colorado St
Army/VCU
I would be pretty happy with those additions. Likely a multi-bid basketball league too.

Yeah cause what's more fun than having to game plan for one wishbone style offense in a conference? Three is much more fun!

That's actually bad for the academies...if 3 conference teams are running a wishbone or flexbone...all other conferences members will actually spend time preparing for it.

One way or the other, I hope the AAC makes their choices next week.
