Pac12 tv ratings are complete ass thats all that matters. Theres no way they get a bigger payday. If USC and Oregon want more money they are going to have to leave.

It is the nature of realignment, you lose off the top, and add best available from below.
Nothing new here. SEC had a very rare grab where they took off the top without adding lesser programs. The Big didn't add partially because they couldn't do what the SEC did, rather they would have had to of done what the B12 had to do grab highest fruit from below.

As for the Pac, and ACC for that matter, they don't belong in the same conversation that SEC and B10 do.

New Big12's best tv number so far is Iowa/Iowa State 3.89 Mil
PAC12 best t number so far Oregon/Ohio State 7.73 Mil

I suspect Cincy vs Notre Dame will be a good showing for the New Big12. Will it be better than 7.73?

I don't believe Cincy vs ND will approach those numbers. With OR vs OSU you have fan bases of two conferences tuning into that game. ND is by itself and doesn't usually pull in the big numbers that B1G teams such as OSU/PSU/UM can especially when they play a marquee non-conference game when that other team's conference fans can help the number.

Case in point look at the ND vs USC numbers the last 4 years. None of those games approach big OSU/PSU games ratings wise.

RE: Dennis Dodd: Big12 targeting PAC teams
the pac and acc will get their two top teams poached just like the big-12 did and their little sister leftovers will feel all alone, wet and cold and left questioning their own puny self worth
espn wants to stop wasting soooo much on little sisters so when a new tv contract for the big-12 is renewed and it’s about $10m per school then the L-pac and L- ACC will be looking at the same exact same payout and will be wondering what to do ?

Yes, but Notre Dame still draws a lot of eyeballs to the TV, regardless of their record. In fact, I contend that a decent percentage of that is watching every game hoping that they lose.

Viewership of WV Olk doesn't surprise me. It was probably the best game of the week.
