Don't look now, but NU is off to a 4-1-1 record (1-0 in CAA).

They got a nice road win at Harvard in 2 OTs Tuesday night. It would be great to get this program back to the success it had in the early 2010s.

They have a stud forward in Timothy Ennin.

NU visits W&M Saturday night.

RE: '21 Men's Soccer
After two bad losses to BU and Drexel, NU got a big win on Senior Day by thumping CofC 7-0. The seven goals are the most they've scored in a game since September 8, 1999, when they beat Sacred Heart 9-0.

Sr. forward Dan Munch scored a first-half hat trick and four different Huskies scored a goal each. Munch is the first player to score a hat trick since Don Anding in 2012.

Timothy Ennin scored his 6th goal and first since the win over match Hofstra last month.

NU ends the regular season next weekend at JMU.

RE: '21 Men's Soccer
With the loss vs Drexel, NU men's soccer put themselves in a tough situation, likely going to need a win @JMU in the season finale to qualify for the playoffs (4 teams). We are certainly capable of it though.

A win and Huskies are in the playoffs.

A draw, and we need 2 of the 3 to happen:
UNCW draw or lose to Hofstra on the road (very good chance)
Elon and W&M ends in a draw (not super likely but definitely possible)
Drexel draw or lose to Delaware at home (not likely to happen)

A loss, and we still need the same above but UNCW definitely need to lose. I believe we'll get in with a 3-way tie-breaker vs Drexel/W&M.

RE: '21 Men's Soccer
Welp, with JMU out that made it a lot easier for mens soccer to qualify for the playoffs. I think a draw guarantees it and a loss could still be okay.

--I don't think a loss would be okay. UNCW's draw @ Hofstra and Drexel's OT win put us in bad shape there. We need at least a draw almost certainly.
