You even have players SKIPPING NYD6 Bowl Games so imagine what it will be like for players AND fans who are not playing in the CFP.

Some bowls will still be somewhat attractive for Upper Midwest Teams/Fans (and WVU) looking to go somewhere warm for the holidays but outside if that, you won't see a lot of fans traveling 1,500 miles to watch their 8-4 or 7-5 team play.

These crappy bowls could be a great opportunity for coaches to bench their seniors and play next year's players. Fans would want to see that.

The Texas Bowl is a must have, especially if the Alamo is lost.

A DFW bowl is also critical. My preference would be the Armed Forces Bowl, but the First Responder would be acceptable. Both would be fine too.

Keeping the Cheez-It (ORL) would be nice but I think they could make due with the Gasparilla (TB) or Cure (ORL).

Liberty would also be nice to maintain but I could see Memphis pushing to make that the AAC’s premier bowl. If the Liberty is lost, Birmingham or Independence would be okay.

Guaranteed Rate (PHX) against the Big 10 will probably be retained—I don’t see anyone trying to steal it.

If the Sun Bowl is shopping itself, they might not be a bad grab, especially if they can get a P5 match.

Bro, as a man with experience -- you don't want Birmingham

Sun Bowl should be considered, esp if a Pac10 school could be opponent. Not a place for top 2 or 3 schools in conf, but not bad for a #5 or 6. Should go hard for Super Bowl vs NFL.*

I think there is a natural affinity between SEC and Big-12 to schedule each other in bowls as the SEC now has 16 teams to place in bowls. The geography of the Big-12 is such that the Big-12 should bring a good amount of fans to bowl games

The lower you go down the bowl chain, the more important it is to have location close to those attending. That is why the bowl pool was a great idea.

There isn't one played at UCF. They already have a tie in with the 2nd tier bowl(Cheese it?) played at the Citrus Bowl.

I think he means the Cure bowl

Or warm locations. Vegas, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Orlando, Tampa.

Memphis couldn't deliver Liberty in the old AAC, They are in weaker place now.
I think B12 needs to hold on to cheezit bowl. Cure is a poor substitute.
Tex bowl and armed forces are important as well. I think the NY6 bowls will be rolled into playoffs. B12 needs to hang on to at least 3 or 4 mid level bowl games.
