Watched some of that match. Wisconsin is really good and serve a lot better than the Huskies, not to mention they are much taller than our ladies. I think we played well, several unforced errors and service problems. We couldn’t block very well 0 blocks going into the 3rd set. I think there’s some good talent on our team, but we should be ready to get into the conference schedule.

For the record, our atmosphere wasn't that intimidating. Wisconsin wins 3-0 (25-16, 25-11, 25-18). Also disappointed that I was only among 602 attending according to the box score.

So it was sold out but there were 200 no shows?

On the "Men's Soccer Defeats ..." thread, where it belongs. Nice video post there by NorthCoast on the Lewang Cup scores/win vs Milwaukee, and uiniu57 on the following win over WIU.

As to NIU v-ball, no panic. Team is 6-4 w/loss to Whisky, which was pretty much expected. A bit disappointed in the loss to UWGB, but NIU may have been looking ahead.
