We have our first above average quarter back in willie fritz’s tenure and an amazing Oc (chip king former Memphis and Notre dame OC). We have no glaring weaknesses with a well balanced offensive attack (lots of TE and RB’s utilized). Our offensive line and WR core are our weakest positions- and both have shown to be average. And that’s all we need to have a huge year - average OL and WR play. They stood up to OU well, as did our defense. You can’t run on us and our secondary has looked good (best line backing core in the aac). We are solid everywhere and our 2nd year QB is a warrior and is a top 3 or 4 QB in the league.

I’ll be rooting for you. Tulane is my underdog longshot for AAC champ.

I hope so, it will be an interesting game to see if Tulane will be a factor in conference title this year.

Tulane isn't beating Ole Miss. If you gave up 40 points to Oklahoma you're going to give up 60 to Ole Miss. My score prediction would be 62-28 Ole Miss.

I could be wrong, probably will be wrong. Ole Miss is going to surprise a lot of people this year though.

It's unlikely that Ole Miss would pull guys as quickly against Austin Peay. You gave up 40 to Oklahoma and I believe that Ole Miss's offense is more difficult to defend and higher pace. I also believe that Ole Miss's defense is better than Oklahoma's.

My one tactic that may result in positive plays for Tulane is the spread. Once Louisville spread Ole Miss out they had some success throwing the ball and were actually very efficient in the second half. If Fritz is willing to spread out the defense and put a hat on a hat with just five or six blockers, you may have some success offensively. But I don't see anyone slowing down Ole Miss's offense this year. You'll have to score 50 to win.

I haven’t seen them play yet. In your opinion, do you think they are better than Oklahoma? Tulane won thay game and the refs bent them over.

If this happens, then Ole Miss is going 11-2 this year.

They looked strong in both their games, but Louisville has ugly QB issues and Austin Peay were a 40 point dog.

Tulane is actually averaging more PPG against a roughly even set of opponents.

I'm thinking that Ole Miss wins and Tulane backdoors a cover because Vegas lol.
