I predict plenty of water and hot dogs and of course rain.

NIU is a school steeped in our beloved traditions. Perhaps our most beloved tradition is running out of concessions. Here is my prediction: If the weather is cool, water supplies will make it to the half. However, no matter what the weather, hot dog supplies will cease to exist one half hour before kickoff. We must maintain our proud traditions and what we are famous for.

Oh, yes….and rain. Yet another of our traditions!

Me and a few in my group will be at our spots at 8:30am with most of our group and most other tailgaters arriving around 11-12. I would say with as old as our fanbase is 3 hours is enough tailgating for most of our fans. It’s not enough for students and diehards but oh well

I predict that STF will spend his pre-game time riding around in his golf cart while only stopping to chat with his mega donors. The mega donors will be given flashing lights to wear so he can easily identify them and not mistakenly stop to chat with a more mortal donor. He will also stop in the sky boxes to make sure there is an ample supply of hot dogs for the mega donors.

We seem to have scheduled much more difficult non-conference games than our fellow MAC brethren, including for our FCS game.

Here's a list of cupcake FCS teams the MAC has played or will play

Norfolk State
Duquesne (which Ohio lost to somehow)

St. Francis
Bryant
Long Island

I couldn't even tell you what conference any of them play in let alone where many of them are from.

Long Island has been playing a few pretty big programs this year. I think they're a new football program but I could be wrong.

I used to watch some of their basketball games when they were just LIU-Brooklyn because I liked that their mascot was the Blackbirds but they merged with another campus and now they're the Sharks and their logo looks like something that would be in a football movie.

That would be 2:30pm CDT. The real start time is 1:30pm CDT.

You forgot about the part where regular donors have to jump out of the way of the cart to avoid being run over.

Jacksonville State lost their home opener 31-0 on Sept 1, versus UAB.

Jacksonville State beats FSU on Sept. 11, 20-17.

And we know that FSU is comprised of superhuman athletes who shouldn't be sharing the field with mortal football players. Just ask any FSU fan, they'll tell you so.

Am I still bitter over the Orange Bowl loss. Hell yes.

The moral of the story never overlook any opponent......ever.

You know I got the printed tickets and on there it says the game time is 12:30. Obviously those were printed a few weeks ago at least. I hope people aren't going by the time on the tickets.

Here we go again! They changed a WBB game time a couple years ago and didn’t let season ticket holders know unless you saw it on the website. Several fans came to the game late and were pissed off like hell. I hope Athletics learned its lesson and sends people e-mails or cards. Their ears may still be ringing from the WBB f-up!

Seems ESPN must be spacing games out for (online) audiences? Something to run into when other games reach half or completion?
