I have no idea on the enemies thing. UALR at least publicly has promised to continue to schedule SBC teams in OOC play. UTA has said very little, but open records revealed they had been looking for a way out of the SBC once they decided not to add football.

You are correct Chief. While no one was thrilled with this move, it was a necessary one and a good thing for all concerned, in the long run. There were absolutely no enemies made with this.

There are some enemies. I don't expect anyone in the SBC will play UTA on the regular again after this year. But I do expect UALR to continue to play AState and the Louisiana schools fairly regularly. However the Trojans have been in the league 30 years and actually developed rivalries, unlike UTA who was here for 9 years.

I hope this is not true. I hope we play several of the SBC schools in Nonconference. We have a pretty good rivalry with Texas State, we shared a conference with them for a while. I really don't think their is any animosity between us and the SBC.
