Week 2 Power Rankings
Tier 1:
Buffalo
NIU
Toledo
EMU
Ball State

Tier 2:
CMU
Kent
WMU
Miami
Ohio
BG

Tier 3:
Akron

This is tough to do, but winners at the top, losers ranked by performance and Akron just looked different level bad.

I also do winners at the top. My ranking is similar to yours. I put NIU first b/c they beat a P5.
Was hard doing the losers b/c none of them looked great other than CMU.

Ga Tech was beat by the Citadel two years ago and was
Syracuse's only win last season. 6 wins total in the past two seasons. Not exactly even a mediocre P5.

Doesn't matter much, NIU was the only MAC team with a FBS win in week 1. All other MAC schools beat FCS teams (many I've never heard of) or lost big to P5s (except for CMU).

I appreciate any P5 win for the MAC. But, I would be the first to tell you a bad Toledo team(3-9) beat a bad Michigan(3-9).

RE: Week 2 Power Rankings
GT’s Citadel loss was the year after firing Paul Johnson and abandoning the triple option. They had a good excuse for being bad the last couple years as the roster was turned over from one built like a service academy. This (3rd) year was when Collins was expected to make a jump toward bowl eligibility. It remains to be seen but obviously not the greatest start.

G5 over P5 is still a symbolic victory, even if the P5 is bad.
