Just saw on Twitter the following;

BREAKING: @GoUTRGV has proposed a referendum to the Student Government Association for an increase in the intercollegiate athletic fees to pay for the following:
-Est of a football program
-Est of a women's swimming/diving program
-Est of marching band
-Expansion of spirt prog.

This is awesome news. I really hope this passes the student vote.

Assuming that UTRGV passes this referendum on a student vote... My guess would be HEB Park but to attract the east side of the valley... Brownsville's Sams Stadium (OLD and UGLY) Stadium would be used just to carrot those students.
