RE: CAA Awards 2021-2022
There doesn't seem to be anything apparent as to why Ms. Brown is offensive, imho.

RE: CAA Awards 2021-2022
As pointed out by Tribe4SF in a separate thread, Congratulations to Gage Herdman for earning CAA Football Defensive Player of the Week!

Prior to this, the CAA awards to W&M have been skimpy so far this year.

RE: CAA Awards 2021-2022
As noted elsewhere, Congratulations to Nate Lynn for earning CAA Football Co-Defensive Player of the Week!

Anyone besides me can insert notifications of CAA awards in this thread (in fact, I would welcome it because that would be less work for me). It just seems like a good idea to have just one thread for CAA awards -- because hopefully there will be a lot of them and one spot makes it easier to find and refer back to them.

RE: CAA Awards 2021-2022
William & Mary junior Zoe Doughty was named the 2021 Colonial Athletic Association Goalkeeper of the Year.

Congratulations! Poor Zoe had to deal with a miserable offense that only scored 6 goals for the SEASON, 2 goals for the entire CAA slate...

That's excellent and very well deserved!! I was very impressed by her and the best thing is that she is only a junior. Maybe next year the team will have some scorers to support her!

RE: CAA Awards 2021-2022
Zoe missed the entire month of September and only played in the final seven conference games. She gave up 3 goals. So as much as we complain about not scoring enough goals, our record would have been a whole lot worse without her in goal.

SHE is a stud. But the reality is that there were only 9 conference games and we only scored one goal for all 7 that she played...
