I imagine the rest of the michigan schools - not just EMU - were waiting for the big dogs to make their policies and would just copy them. id expect emu to announce a similar decision in the coming days.

According to the CDC's most recent data the viral load is
about the same between the two groups. Individuals with breakthrough infections, symptomatic or asymptomatic have the same probability as nonvaccinated.

Rocket, I believe you are correct.

For the initial strain, the 2-shot dose basically stopped the person from transmitting the virus. That was a pleasant surprise.

That has changed with the delta variant.

It now seems, as you indicate, is that the vaccines (2 doses) protects against serious illness or death, but does not protect against transmission. Dr. Fauci has made statements about the virus of the nasopharynx of those vaccinated.

It is now, as a nun told my mother when she (my mother) was having me: "God helps those who help themselves." Must have been a bad delivery.

Here each person 12+ is responsible for protecting him or herself and not depend on others to not expose them to the virus.
