Hard to tell for sure on tv but Dequara appeared to be open a number of times on underneath routes but Rogers appeared to only be looking for Adams or Jones even if he had to force it into them.

It does seem that way at times. That said, in the second half Deguara ran a great route over the middle to get open and Rogers threw a low ball to him but he was unable to come up with the catch. On another underneath route Rogers was going to throw him the ball until the Niners DL sacked him. I'm really pleased with the progress Josiah made this year after the season-ending injury last year. He seems to be making the transition to the NFL game. Hopefully next year he picks up where he left off.

Deguara also made a really nice tackle on a punt return that was about to break loose. The announcers even mentioned it, "nice tackle by Deguara!"

That was a great play and it reminded me of when he chased down that UCF interception that for all intents and purposes should've been a pick six. He's a dedicated, hard working dude and I hope it continues to pay off for him.

And kudos to the announcers for recognizing immediately who it was. It's gotta be tough to remember a role player's name and recognize him on sight from the booth when there's 106 players on the sidelines on gameday.
