Thanks. So "recommended" basically means no masks. If you want to wear one, you can. At Saturday's game, I pulled my mask down for a few seconds during a timeout while I was looking on my phone, and noticed that an usher was walking up to my seats in the last row to scold me. I had put it back on before I noticed she was going after me. Glad we won't be seeing any of that crap at the CAAT.

you know our family likes to go to games. i think whatever god is in charge is trying to keep us shut down since everything is getting cancelled anyway. our potentials are penn state or phantoms hockey...but staying home to watch college football (assuming that happens) seems smarter every second.

if you're looking for something to watch...there is a massive sprint car race going on this week called the tulsa shootout. it's on floracing from like 10 am well into the evening. all the features are saturday night and they have 5-10 different classes of cars. they have like 1700 cars there for an INDOOR racing event. talk about a super spreader but that's how the racing community rolls.

Well, as someone who is immunocompromised I appreciate them be vigilant like that. I'll be at some of the tournament, although the 4-game Friday is a bit in doubt due to a medical procedure that morning.

i completely agree. there were members of the men's basketball team who needed reminders at the women's games and didn't get them. i almost gave it to them but decided i didn't want to deal with any drama. i'm over all the whining and we're just going to keep doing what we've been doing as a family.

RE: Covid Policies for Drexel Athletics
Covid cases in Philadelphia are down 3600% since January 8th from 247/100k to 6.8/100k. 6 weeks ago, everyone should have been wearing masks indoors. If it's not time now to end the mandates, then we'll be wearing masks forever. Everyone is more than welcome to keep their masks on, and everyone should respect those who do. But it's time to stop forcing it on people, when Covid spread in our community is extremely low.

it looks like that has been taken care of based on timer's post...and i don't have a problem with it. maybe just give them a few days to adjust which they ultimately did.
