It’s like this stupid commercial they’ve been running that says 99% of all cases and 95% of all deaths have been unvaccinated people. Well, considering that from February 2020 till March 2021 almost everyone was unvaccinated, and that’s the timeframe the vast majority of cases and deaths took place, it’s a meaningless point. Nothing but propaganda.

If they would quit treating the public as idiotic rubes they would maybe regain a little trust.

Colleges here in MI are requiring everyone to be masked & vaccinated b/c logic?

I got jabbed so I didn't have to wear a mask. Now, my employer is going back to masks, even for the vaccinated, and is requiring proof of vaccination or we'll be subjected to weekly tests. I think I'd rather take weekly tests (on their dime, during the workday) than give them proof of anything now.

Masks & distancing have proven to be effective; and if 50% of the population refuses to be vaccinated then they are their only measure of protection.

On one hand, I’m inclined to say f ‘em, but then they also account for 99% of hospitalizations and are an unnecessary strain on our healthcare system. As of yesterday, there were only 25 ICU beds left in the state of Arkansas… so what does that mean for those who need that level of care but are unable to receive it. Gov Asa Hutchinson is in a hell of a bind because the dumb*** sign a mask ban into law to appease the wing nuts in the state legislature; and now realizes he signed away his only measure in fighting this virus among the unvaccinated.

A) 99% is not right. The actual percentage is probably in the low 90s.
B) The morbidly obese are a strain on our healthcare system every day. Are we going to start mandating healthy diets for them?


The healthcare systems were not "overrun" last Fall, before anyone was vaccinated, and now I'm supposed to believe we're at a critical juncture when the numbers are half of what they were last fall? GTFO.

and it’s partly why the Delta variant is currently reeking havoc in our area. 700 of 4000 children in our local school district are now under quarantine and school has only been open for a little over a week. The system did not distance and made masks optional… and now they are contemplating closing down & going remote.
