But CUSA basketball and now baseball are head and shoulders above Sunbelt not to mention academics. Don’t let 1 year especially the Covid change your perspective

I still have seen zero evidence that Sunbelt TV deal is so much better than CUSA. Yes they are all in on ESPN which they get hardly any revenue, Play Tuesday and Wednesday nights, plus their games are put behind the ESPN+ paywall which hardly has any viewership. Plus having to pay to produce these ESPN+ games.

Course CUSA deal is hardly anything but Stadium is so much better than ESPN+or ESPN3 plus it is completely free and easy to access

Don’t confuse our guests with facts, Dawgxas.

I'll take Marshall's media coverage over what UTSA, Rice, FIU and FAU get and reach. Our media reaches less people yet they reach the right people and even if you aren't a Marshall alum or fan you know who they are talking about and can relate to it.

There are to many teams in and around San Anatonio, Houston, Miami (Boca Included) to focus on just the listed schools, pro and college. Those schools will never be the priority in that area. I can tell you that 100% Marshall is the priority of Huntington WV as they are the only game in town. The closest IA school would be Ohio, 88 miles north and the closest P5 schools are UK 125 miles west and Ohio State 135 miles north.

Tech's biggest competitor for attention isn't LSU or ULL. It's Highschool football. The tv stations in Monroe and Shreveport will bend over backwards for a high school game but seldom develop their own content for Tech, Grambling or ULM. They will stay for a quarter then make the rest up or pull video from someone else.

This 1000%. Sorry but Charlotte is likely number 3 or 4 in it’s own city. UNC, NC State, likely USC, hell even WVU has a strong presence there. Not to mention Wake, App, ECU.

UNCC football is probably 9th in the City.

UNC,NC State, Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, App, Wake Forest, ECU, UNCC. Probably in that order.

Its no surprise, Charlotte is a city of transplants. Theres more Steelers and Bills fans in this city than Panthers fans. Probably more Giants/Jets fans as well.

Glad they could celebrate the MU soccer teams national title. That’s very classy of downtown Charlotte.

Its about getting strong football programs with name recognition and a fanbase thats not nonexistent. Cusa did the opposite and created a disaster with 3.0. Judy has done nothing but make it all worse from there.
