RE: It’s been nice sharing a conference with you
I think it’s equally likely the aac and mwc get raided as it is the big xii is picked apart by the other power conferences and the remnants go to aac and mwc.

If the big xii survives and steals teams from aac/mwc, I think the most likely exit from the league will be utep to the mountain west. Uab would probably be my top pick for aac poaching. Marshall second.

I think cusa overall will see very little movement.

I have come to enjoy sharing this conference with all of you warts and all. As much as I hate to admit it if UAB and La Tech end up in different conferences I will actually miss them. It seems every time UAB starts to build a rivalry we end up never playing again.

Shutting down the football program again?

Epic Applause

Most expect the big 12’to backfill from the AAC who the backfills from CUSA etc

I see what people are saying. I just am not convinced yet that the dominoes will fall all the way to us.

They won't fall that way at all. CUSA will be minimally impacted if at all.

I think chances are slim to none that happens. For the B1G, none of the Big 12 teams will move the needle monetarily like OU and Texas will for the SEC. And the B1G aren't simply going to add just any team(s) to get to sixteen unless they bring value to the conference.

Same goes for the ACC; the only team they are interested in reeling in is Notre Dame. WVU makes sense for them from a geographic perspective but unless the ACC loses a team or two to the SEC or B1G I don't see the Mounties getting an invite.

The PAC 12 needs to be seriously worried about losing teams to the B1G. This is where I see the next shot across the bow coming from; the B1G is going to go after USC, UCLA, Oregon, Stanford, Colorado, and California hard. I mean really aggressively hard. Those schools are like minded schools to the B1G and adding them would be just as huge and financially rewarding as the SEC adding Texas and OU.

The remnants of the PAC 12 and Big 12 will join and add two more teams to get to 16. This is where I expect to see AAC teams whoring themselves with no honor to get into that conference. And it will probably only be one spot open because I am sure BYU would be extended an invite to join.

Geography doesn't matter anymore. The B1G and SEC are looking college football dominance and they don't care who they'll have to trample to get it.
