South Carolina in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party?
Random thought unrelated to SEC Expansion:

Living in Gainesville, I never travelled to Jacksonville for the Georgia game. I got to experience fans from across the conference, but not Georgia fans. Would those two school consider playing on campus every so often?

The folks in Jacksonville could keep their annual game if they invited South Carolina to participate in years where Florida-Georgia was moved on campus. Sample schedule:

TEAMS: UF-UGA // UGA-SC // SC-UF
Year 1: @WLOCP // @Georgia // @Florida
Year 2: @Florida // @WLOCP // @SC
Year 3: @Georgia // @SC // @WLOCP

There is a decent contingent of both fanbases that would like to see the game moved on campus. But those parties are dwarfed by the pact between South GA Dawg fans and the city of Jacksonville. It can't be replicated by swapping in another team.

Jacksonville could try hosting FSU vs Clemson sometime or a UF vs Tenn. game sometime. UF vs FSU? Travel to Jacksonville from South Carolina (Columbia & the low country) is quite reasonable. Other than those, the enthusiasm would be diminished.

Florida does have advantages in Jacksonville, i.e. proximity and convenience, and being a boost for Florida hotels, restaurants, and related businesses.

Off campus games are a dying breed. In fact I think the neutral site kickoff classics are on their way out as well. The gates these teams get from H/H series combined with the ancillary income of their respective colleges towns is too alluring to pass up.

Exactly!!! But, I have to admit it would be interesting to see two other teams play in Jax.
