Kansas is a blue blood basketball program where as UConn is not. At one point they were good but I think they would need more consistency. Internet streaming is going to be the big money maker in the future and I think with Basketball the number 2 most popular sport in the world, it would be advantageous for the ACC to position itself as the best basketball league in college. I think the ability to sell internet streaming around the world assuming the ACC can hook up with Disney, Apple, Amazon, Youtube (Google), Comcast, Paramount+ will bring in another stream of revenue. This is a few years out but it is coming.

What about the ACC taking UConn and Kansas?

I think this basketball strategy to position for the streaming world is the way to go.
Possibly, but Cincinnati would also be an option. The SEC can be number one in college football but if the ACC becomes number one in college basketball this would better position the ACC for world wide streaming subscribers and may ultimately make the ACC more money as basketball is the number 2 most popular sport in the world.

Funny, I don't recall Lovie Jenkins. Not sure most Louisville fans do either.
We do remember the cheap shot UConn pulled on Louisville with that fair catch signal though

I think West Virginia and Notre Dame are preferred. I think there is an idea being thrown around if Notre Dame does not want to join. West VA and a FB only mbr to split with ND... Names I have heard is UCONN and Army. I have no clue if any of that has Traction!

Navy would be more valuable than Army.

I hate to dump on the guy who started this thread -- he seems nice enough, despite the barbs thrown my team's way.

It's pretty simple --

UConn's strengths coincide with the ACC's strengths. And sadly, neither are where they need to be -- in football.

Several schools would be ahead of you (assuming there is a list) and would be contingent on one HUGE thing happening -- Notre Dame joining in all sports.

Of the Big XII remnants:

West Virginia would probably top the list (which I would despise)

Of the G5 schools:

Cincy would probably top the list (I'd be ok with this)

But nothing is going to happen until Notre Dame comes aboard, OR 2036, when they announce they are joining somewhere else.

By the way .... UConn had seriously cool helmets with the Husky on it. Not sure what they are sporting now. But if it isn't the Husky, they need to go back to it.
