Thank you for the update! Wonderful news!

After going +2 yesterday, he just finished another +2 round today (after temporarily ballooning to +6 overall), so he's +4 total, currently 1 shot above the theoretical cut line.

Birdied 18 after 3 bogeys beginning with hole 9 thru 15, to finish +6, not all that far from the bottom of those who made the cut. I think kinda tough conditions, but others are faring better.........

Seamus is faring very well for his first time at The Masters. Consistent in tough conditions, at +2 each of first 3 days, tied for 36th. Here's hoping he starts a little better today (tees off at 11:30AM) and maybe gets a little run going and sneaks his way into the top 20-25 or so. Go Seamus!

2 bogeys and 3 birdies on the front nine to bring him to +5 on the tournament. Some others are going way low already today, tho, so doubt he'll climb very high.

Looks like Seamus will finish in the top 25-27 range. Really good final round and almost hit a hole in one. This finish will help him maintain his FedEx and world golf ranking and ensure that he qualifies for the PGA Championship tournament and likely the remaining PGA majors of the year.

Ended -2 for the day, which brings him back to +4 for the tournament. He might be somewhere in the 25-35 top. Probably closer to the latter as there are many birdies out there to be had.

[edit: Yeah, unless somebody above them collapses, he'll be in a 3-way tie for 27-29. Not too shabby. Heck..........I didn't even make the cut. 03-lmfao]

He finished in a three-way tie with Jon Rahm and Viktor Hovland, 9 shots ahead of Tiger. That's a weekend to be proud of... and a lucrative one. He should clear six figures from the purse.

Not a bad week's work for Seamus. Well deserved and congrats to him.

RE: Congrats Seamus Power!!
Seamus had a pretty nice tournament just concluded at the Texas TPC course, where they had the Byron Nelson Classic. All four rounds in the 60s, to tie for 17th. (But apparently the course was playing pretty easy, as K.H. Lee won it in 26-under. Power's 18-under is darn good, but 38 players were at least 15-under.)

Now on to Tulsa for the PGA which starts Thursday, I think.

He shot a 71, which is +1, which ties him for 38th-55th. 3 bogeys; 2 birdies.

[Update: Just finished second round with a 1-under 70, with 3 birdies and 2 bogeys, so he'll make the cut. Right now tied for 23rd, but that doesn't mean that much this early in the day.]

Through front 9, even par - two bogeys and two birdies. He bogeyed #3 yesterday and today.

[Update: Seamus birdied 4 of the last 7 holes, to move into a 3-way tie for 6th (as of now), finishing with a very nice 67. He should get some TV time tomorrow, depending on how everyone else finishes.]

RE: Congrats Seamus Power!!
Well, he didn't win. He was on-camera briefly on the first two holes, but after doubling the second hole, he became persona non grata as far as the TV network cared. Played 'steady' the rest of the round with 1 more bogey and 1 birdie, finished tied for 9th with 3 others, so a very respectable showing, to say the least. And he picked up a mere $357K for his week in OK. Along with 80 FedEx pts., which puts him 22nd in the world, according to that metric.

Seamus has carded a 71 and 70 (par 70) at the U.S. Open at Brookline (MA) and will 'likely' make the cut, altho it's too soon to be able to say that. Most golfers below the theoretical cut line have already finished, but far from all of them.

Seamus is safely under the cut line. Other than a 3 hole bogey stretch in rd 1 he would be right in the thick of a crowded leaderboard. Who knows with a good effort tomorrow, he could play himself into a puncher's chance at a top 10 finish on Sunday.

My money is on Mcleroy as he looks as determined to prove a point, as I have seen. Still pulling for Seamus.
