Eric Konkol signs a contract extension with LA Tech. This past season Konkol led the Bulldogs to 24 wins, the CUSA West Division title and a 3rd place finish in the NIT. He also won the CUSA "Coach of the Year" Award for the 2nd time.

The Bulldogs won 12 or more league games four of the past six years, including 25 conference wins over the past two seasons – the most in the league.

Good move by La. Tech. My impression is that Coach Konkol is just as smart as his mentor, Jim Larranaga, without the diva behavior.
