New Mexico is fully opened since July 1st so yes we'll be having home games and we'll be at 100% capacity for every home football and basketball game. New Mexico has done a good job getting people vaccinated. COVID cases are way down.

I've only been in the UVU events center once, and it was a number of years before they joined the WAC. Problem is, I was at a BYU game, a near sell out, the night before so it seemed pretty small, and kind of dead. I don't remember being too impressed. But the facility itself is very nice, and this should definitely take it a big step forward. Honestly, I didn't get a good feel for the building because they had areas with the bleachers not pulled out and covered by a wall of signs, and other areas tarped over. The sides are not symmetrical either so its hard to tell what u could see and what I missed. It seats around 7-8K but it didn't look like when you see it from the broadcast POV. Hope this is a shot in the arm for attendance for them.

That’s good to hear. I thought it was pretty awful what that state did to the universities last year

All it took was killing off 40% of small businesses in the state.

I'm sure they took the six, seven figures PPP loans and then decided to close shop. I'm glad we had strict rules because it saved a lot of lives. We aren't all privileged to be European American and always have access to healthcare and good hospitals. Maybe had European Americans never stole Apache, Navajo, Pueblo, and Mexican land, then just maybe New Mexico wouldn't be the poor state that we are. You ever think of that?

How does this have anything to do with basketball facilities?
