Looks like "special assistant" is support, rather than coaching, staff.

Does his hire have any impact on UNCW's financial obligations to Coach McGrath?

Hope it works out for Miller and McGrath at Cincinnati.

Most contracts include an offset based on taking another job, so I will assume it does help us financially. McGrath was a good guy, just not a good coach. Wish him well.

His contract expires at the end of March 2022 so it makes sense for him to get back into the game. Any funds that he makes help offset the final $300K he is owed for the final year 5 we are in. Asumming he is paid in 12 monthly installments of 25K from April 2021 to March 2022 and that his 1st paycheck will be July 1st 2021, we have about 225K on the contract this job could offset
