Summer baseball
NU will be well represented at the Cape Cod League and other various summer leagues.

CAPE COD LEAGUE

RHP Sr. Brandon Dufault and RHP Soph. Eric Yost  is playing for Yarmouth-Dennis.

OF Jr. Ben Malgeri and RHP Soph. Cam Schlittler is playing for Harwich.

RHP Soph. Sebastian Keane playing for Chatham.



FUTURES COLLEGIATE BASEBALL LEAGUE

RHP Soph. Michael Gemma, LHP Soph. James Quinlivan, C Soph. JP Olson and incoming freshman INF Jack Doyle playing for Brockton.

Incoming freshmen RHP Jack Beauchesne, and RHP Phil DiBlasi, RHP Soph. Wyatt Scotti, Soph, Soph. C Greg Bozzo are playing for Nashua

Incoming freshman LHP Owen Zadrozny and OF Luke Masiuk, Soph. C David Howarth, and Soph. LHP Matt Downing playing for New Britain.

That’s usually for west coast or Midwest players.

I know it’s great playing at midnight in the daylight, but that’s too far.

Dennis Colleran, Top Pro Prospect - Pitcher
The hard-throwing righty K'd 37, allowed just three earned runs and a .178 average in 24.1 innings (2-0, 1.11 ERA in 12 G, 1 GS) during his first taste of college ball with #WooBall.

New England Baseball Journal listed their 16 MLB Draft prospects from summer collegiate leagues.

Sebastian Keane
RHP | Northeastern
Hometown: North Andover, Mass.
Bats: Right | Throws: Right
Height: 6-3 | Weight: 190


Pitching for the Chatham Anglers in the Cape League, Keane went 0-1 with a 3.85 ERA with 25 strikeouts over 21 innings. The right-hander with mid-90s velocity slotted into Northeastern’s rotation this spring, going 6-1 while striking out 73 in 70.1 innings.

Cam Schlittler
RHP | Northeastern
Hometown: East Walpole, Mass.
Bats: Right | Throws: Right
Height: 6-6 | Weight: 200


Schlittler pitched for Harwich in the Cape League, posting a record of 0-3 with a 5.40 ERA with 21 strikeouts in 25 innings. After a strong spring at Northeastern, he was named a NCBWA Second Team Freshman All-American. He led the CAA with eight wins and ranked 11th in the country with a 1.88 earned run average.
