A California district attorney has claimed that allegations that she has soft-on-crime policies are actually racist attacks against her. Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price and some of her supporters slammed Oakland residents who have been complaining that crime is too high in the major California city and that the DA is not doing enough.

Yesterday, while Seattle crews were clearing a drug & rat infested encampment, despite multiple warnings activists got pepper sprayed for disassembling a fence that was erected for repairs @ Cal Anderson Park
#BREAKING: Monday morning, FAR-LEFT activists at Cal Anderson Park tore down fencing around the former BLM Garden. The so called mutual-aid groups have maintained a vigil nearby and have been harassing security guards on site. Making matters worse, the kid who got peppered sprayed in the face the other day is also back annoying the guards.
Just in the past few days, Seattle Police officers have responded to the park multiple times. I'm being told the activists are now being forced to remove their Commie/Marxist/Socialist banners. Last week, city crews moved in and demolished the rat infested garden that was one of the last remnants of the CHAZ/CHOP zone and the 2020 BLM riots. It also attracted crime, open air drug use, and the chronically homeless.
As I predicted, this will remain a contentious situation until the city leaders can find a long term solution to address these militant activists who remain a cancer on the community.
Last January, a robber was shot to death by a patron at a taqueria on S. Gessner just before midnight last Thursday night.
Surveillance video shows a black male in a black ski mask walking around the taqueria and robbing customers at gunpoint (it later turned out he was holding a BB gun).
An alert citizen seated near the robber jumped into action and shot the suspect dead.
According to Houston Police, the Good Samaritan then collected the money from the suspect and gave it back to the robbery victims.
The unnamed 46-year-old armed customer cooperated with law enforcement and ultimately faced a grand jury.
The armed patron, who still has not been named, won’t be charged, a Harris County jury decided.
A grand jury declined to file charges against the man who shot and killed a robber (pictured below) at a southwest Houston taqueria last year.
The shooting happened on Jan. 5, 2023, at the El Ranchito taqueria on South Gessner Road.
In the wake of the shooting, there were calls for the shooter to be charged. Some called him a “vigilante.” Others called the man who shot and killed the robber a hero.
Restaurant owner Pedro Lopez agreed with the grand jury’s decision. He also said the customer who fired the shots hasn’t returned in the year since the shooting.
The robbery suspect (now deceased), Eric Washington, 30, was a convicted criminal.
Won't be robbing anyone else thanks to good samaritan citizen.
