RE: 2021 Game Time Speculation/Announcements
Ohio State-Penn State ratings should be very good (usually wnd highest of season), but I would guess last week was ESPN's first choice of weeks to choose 1st (with post-Thansksgiving off table) and I suspect they arent sure they git the right game (although wouldn't be shocked either way in OSU/PSU and UM/MSU).

Curious about week after this as I'm going. Figure wont be a big nooner for OSU that week based on other games. Kind of hoping for 3:30.

OSU/PSU would outdraw UM/MSU 9 out of 10 times. The problems this year was that Michigan and Michigan State were both undefeated going into the game, Penn State lost to Illinois the week before, and the game was up against the World Series.

Actually, I predicted Purdue/Ohio State will be the "Big Nooner" in the main game time speculation thread. I have ABC getting first pick but picking Michigan/Penn State instead.

I'm glad someone other than me actually used the phrase "Big Nooner":)

RE: 2021 Game Time Speculation/Announcements
All Big 10 Nov. 27 TV game times/networks have been announced with the exception of Penn State/Michigan State and Wisconsin/Minnesota. Thank you to the posters keeping the main thread up to date.

Network Games:

Ohio State: 9 (Minnesota 9/2 FOX, Oregon 9/11 FOX, Maryland 10/9 FOX, Indiana 10/23 ABC, Penn State 10/30 ABC, Nebraska 11/6 FOX, 11/13 Purdue, 11/20 Michigan State, 11/27 Michigan FOX)
Michigan: 9 (Washington 9/11 ABC, Rutgers 9/25 ABC, Wisconsin 10/2 FOX, Nebraska 10/9 ABC, Northwestern 10/23 FOX, Michigan State 10/30 FOX, Indiana 11/6 FOX, Penn State 11/13 ABC, Ohio State 11/27 FOX)

Penn State: 7 (Wisconsin 9/4 FOX, Auburn 9/18 ABC, Indiana 10/2 ABC, Iowa 10/9 FOX, Illinois 10/23 ABC, Ohio State 10/30 ABC, Michigan 11/13 ABC)

Nebraska: 5 (Illinois 8/28 FOX, Oklahoma 9/18 FOX (In Big 12 Package), Michigan 10/9 ABC, Ohio State 11/6 FOX, Wisconsin 11/20 ABC)

Wisconsin: 4 (Penn State 9/4 FOX, Notre Dame 9/25 FOX, Michigan 10/2 FOX, Nebraska 11/20 ABC)
Michigan State: 4 (Miami 9/18 ABC (In ACC Package), Michigan 10/30 FOX, Purdue 11/6 ABC, Maryland 11/13 FOX)
Purdue: 4 (Notre Dame 9/18 NBC (In ND Package), Iowa 10/16 ABC, Michigan State 11/6 ABC, Ohio State 11/13 ABC)

Indiana: 3 (Penn State 10/2 ABC, Ohio State 10/23 ABC, Michigan 11/6 FOX)

Iowa: 3 (Iowa State 9/11 ABC (In Big 12 Package), Penn State 10/9 FOX, Purdue 10/16 ABC)

Maryland: 2 (Ohio State 10/9 FOX, Michigan State 11/13 FOX)
Illinois: 2 (Nebraska 8/28 FOX, Penn State 10/23 ABC)

Northwestern: 1 (Michigan 10/23 FOX)
Rutgers: 1 (Michigan 9/25 ABC)
Minnesota: 1 (Ohio State 9/2 FOX)

Counting only games in Big 10 Package:
FOX: 15 games aired/scheduled up to 11/27 (9 Big Nooners, 3 mid afternoon, 1 Saturday night, 1 Thursday night, 1 Week 0)
ABC: 14 games aired/scheduled up to 11/23 (3 noon, 5 3:30pm, 6 SNF)

All 14 teams have now played at least one Big Ten conference game on network TV.

Both Ohio State and Michigan will play nine games on network TV this year. The maximum is ten since all Big Ten teams must play two games on the Big Ten Network. Both teams will play eight of their nine conference games on OTA, the maximum allowed since all Big Ten teams must play one Big Ten game on BTN. Penn State is scheduled for seven OTA games with an eighth possible vs. Michigan State. The Nittany Lions will play Rutgers on BTN and played Maryland on FS1. Assuming MSU is OTA, they will have played seven of nine OTA.

Nationally, Oklahoma will play ten games nationally on OTA. Somehow they got a game vs. Tulane on ABC Week 1 which I think is pushing it. Ohio State vs. Tulsa is just as good a game, why couldn't that game be on ABC? And Notre Dame has had nine OTA games with Stanford unscheduled. Their game vs. Toledo was demoted to Peacock and it should have been. They didn't have any other G5 games this year. They had a game vs. Virginia Tech on ACCN and it probably should have been on ABC though.

Counting conference games only, Nebraska has played four conference games on ABC/FOX while Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana, and Wisconsin have played three conference games on ABC/FOX. Wisconsin also "hosted" Notre Dame (Chicago) which counted towards the Big Ten package.

RE: 2021 Game Time Speculation/Announcements
The partial move to FOX has definitely given more OTA games. I'm guessing it will drop a bit once the SEC is done with CBS (and in years the rivals on FOX are higher), but pretty good result overall.

LOL. Big Nooner, just seemed natural

Thank you stever20 for the update on the main thread!

On Matt's board (https://mattsarzsports.blogspot.com/), Penn State-Michigan State and Wisconsin-Minnesota will be either 4pm FOX or 3:30pm on ABC/ESPN. The other possibilities for 3:30pm on ABC/ESPN are Oregon State-Oregon and Notre Dame-Stanford, the other game will be 8pm on FOX. So in addition to Ohio State/Michigan as the Big Nooner on FOX, the Big Ten is guaranteed a doubleheader on FOX and has a chance for the 3:30pm slot on ABC.
