Chenault pitches great in relief as well. 2 shutout innings with only one baserunner allowed (a single).

2-0 still, bottom 8th.

After a leadoff single by Monjero and double off the wall by Suggs, Lifrieri gets walked and the Hawks have the bases loaded and 1 out for Weiss.

A full count walk for Weiss. 3-0!

Hodges in to pitch the 9th, going for a Save here.

3-1 game now, as the Hawks get into some trouble thanks to a leadoff walk and a pair of errors.

Gesell gets into trouble right away, serving up a couple of fat pitches that result in a hard-hit single and a double.

However, he's battled back to get a K and a line out. He's trying to get out of the 1st without any damage.

Base hit up the middle, off Gesell's leg, scores 2.

2-0 UNCA, top 1st.

Still 2-0, bottom 2nd. Gesell looked much sharper in his 2nd frame. Which is good, since we already had an arm or 2 getting loose in the 1st.
