You have a right to peacefully assemble yes. You don't have a right to impede traffic or threaten the safety of others. If you feel so strongly about it I'll give you a ride down there and help you get set up in the middle of the interstate. Ok, well, I'll watch you set up anyway.

There are already laws on the books about obstructing traffic and making threats to others. The problem with this law is who and what is described as a riot.

I don't. I hit a dog once with a work van. The blood wasn't that hard to get out, but the chunks of fur seemed never to end. Not to mention, some poor person has to clean up the roadkill.

I know your new sources selectively edit out information that doesn't fit the narrative, so pull your head out of your rectum while I recap what was actually stated at the press conference. Oh, and Sheriff Grady Judd even used pictures for the slower liberals amongst us.

Peaceful assembly is welcome. Non-peaceful assembly is not. You surround my car, you're putting my life and any passenger's life in an opportunity for danger. Do it, you get mowed down. Get arrested vandalizing, looting, or burning and you're not going to get a quick bond out of jail thanks to some liberal Hollyweird elite or George Soros. The penalties increase from there. Don't like it? Go to Chiraq, Baltimore, New York City, or anywhere in urban California and do your thing. Just don't do your dumbassery here in Florida.

Grady is just trying to get into the spotlight. He needs to worry about his own county and stop trying to impose his beliefs into our county.

Grady is doing just fine, and his beliefs are what people in his county and Florida want, hence why he is still in office and we have DeSantis instead of your losing pillow-biter meth-head running the state. If you don't like it in your county maybe you should move. Your values seem more aligned with Chiraq, LA, NY, Baltimore, etc.

There's nothing unconstitutional about this law. You have a right to peacefully assemble (still). You don't have a right to violently riot. Just because there are other criminal laws on the book doesn't prevent the legislature from proscribing more illegal conduct. The powers of the states are numerous and indefinite.

My county is doing just fine thank you. We don't want or need Grady's beliefs.

No reason to go to that trash heap.

Hopefully, a bunch of them continue to get in the roads. Knock them down like bowling pins and watch drunk Nan thank them for dying like crackhead George

I was gonna run over them anyway.

Better judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Legally running over people ain't gonna happen, for DeSantis or anyone else. This will work against him in the future.

I've had more than one cop tell me that if I ever find myself in that situation, and feel threatened, to do whatever I need to do to get out of said situation. That includes driving forward. Afterwards, I was advised to pull over and call the cops. If some idiot wants to block a highway, that's on them.
