Immediate Transfer Rule up for vote
I know that this has been talked about for awhile but I just read that the immediate transfer rule is expected to be up for vote today or tomorrow by the NCAA’s Division 1 Council. It would affect football, basketball, baseball and men’s hockey.

Evidently, there is an antitrust statute they have to work around but the transfer rule is expected to pass. We should hear about this soon.

Also heard there are more than 1300 players in the transfer portal. I think that is a current number. How many will end up at schools?

took a look at it today and half the deciding transfers were going to lower level or juco schools. gunn from ball st moved down a division. ziegler from BG going to top juco indian hills.

in the pf debate OU just signed a prep school 6-7 pf/c type guy who looks on tape like a really good mac recruit. they are pretty loaded on the interior next season w both their big guys back, plus 2 younger guys returning and jason carter and this new recruit ezuma coming in.
