Yup...y’all kicked us in the teeth this series. I’m disgusted with our approach at the plate and defense in the field. Looks like we will have to win the SBC tournament to get into a Regional.

You're not going to win many games giving up 17 unearned runs over 4 games.

The Cajuns always find a way to get into the regionals.

When your team ERA is around 8, you have to take the little things as a sign of success... Our starting pitchers have all pitched independently well at specific times, but rarely pitched into the 6th. Our Sunday starter finally put everything together and made it to the 6th inning today, and then completed the inning. Its the baby steps that count when you are 10-19.

The last time an AState starter pitched into the 7th was in early 2019.

UTA won its third consecutive series, now having taken 2 of 3 from Texas State, Coastal, and StAte. Not great, but gradual progress indicating that the team is better than some expected.

Not sure why you put that in bold, I said you won the series with the whole, "salvaged a game " comment.

Your pitching staff will keep you in games with basically anyone in the league.

No particular reason for the bold. I was just using UTA as a proper name. Certainly no slight was intended against StAte! UTA and ASU have a lot of history going back to our days in the Southland Conference. Thanks for the positive comment about our pitching. I hope that will hold true.
