CCU #36 Sell- They win 8-10 but fall back due to losses up front
App #38 Hold- They win the East in Boone
Troy #52 Sell- Don't get this one
UL #69 Buy - Seriously I think this is the best team in the SBC next year
ArkSt #82 Buy- The weaknesses of Blake Ball will be glaring with a more disciplined team. I think the 60's is a better spot.
GSU #86 Buy - lots of playmakers
GS #88 Buy - and you will too when they beat Arkansas
TxSt #97 Sell - don't like their recruiting model
USA #118 Hold
ULM #121 Buy - They quit in a lot of ways last year, including literally having players quit. Put them 15-20 spots higher and maybe 3rd in the West with better coaching

AState is coming off first losing season since 2010. If there were a time to buy its now.

Utah St is never going to hire anyone with a name close to Andersen or Anderson after the debacle that’s headed their way. I still can’t believe our luck. The football gods are smiling upon us.

According to FPI, which team will outperform their preseason ranking the most and which will underperform the most?

USA, GS, ARKST, and UL will likely outperform these rankings. I think Coastal takes a step back. Troy is suspiciously high. Everyone else looks about right.

I mostly agree with this. Hoping USA breaks the top 100 this year. GS this spring looks to have quite a bit more pop to them so I see them above this metric. UL is probably going to outperform this as well also. Someone else will need to chime in on ArkSt. Not sure about them with the new changes.

For the rest of the SBC-E, Coastal may take a small step back now that everyone knows to put a target on their backs. They still have that QB, and so his supporting players will need to step up. App has gone thru a year with the new coach now and may find their groove. I’d keep them where they are. Troy is surprisingly high on this list. Not sure if that’ll stay that way. GaState looks about right. Heard they had 4500 show up to their spring game. Hopefully that’s a good sign for their actual game attendance.

Lunsford has made us mediocre and the media knows it. All we can hope for with Lunsford at this point is he will be able to hire well enough to keep us at least winning because he sure is not going to recruit his way to the top.

What proof do you have to indicate if it is indefinite?

Just wondering, if there are facts or if you are jumping at conclusions?

Lunsford's language addressing the issue also said: "seemed". Most folks on the other board came to the same conclusion the way Lunsford phased things. If he comes back great gives us a better chance of a baller earning the QB starter position instead of by default.
