Jacobi Eager To Begin UT Career
https://www.toledoblade.com/sports/ut/20...0210408124

Kooper Jacobi, an under-recruited and under-starred forward from Sellersburg, Ind., just across the Ohio River from Louisville, is arriving at the University of Toledo in June with plans to make his name a familiar expression.

The 6-foot-7, 195-pound Jacobi is equipped with a blend of finesse, intensity, and exactness that produces a gripping prospect.

“Making an immediate impact is the goal,” Jacobi said.

A highlight from the article is that Jacobi won Indiana's "prestigious Arthur L. Trester Mental Attitude Award, presented annually to the senior who has demonstrated excellence in mental attitude, scholarship, leadership, and athletic ability during his four years."

If he able to pack on another 25 more lbs of muscle without losing a step would be great. Now is he 6-6 or a true 6-7 player ?

Jacobi has a lean build. He is not a power forward nor likley to grow into one. He is an intense guy who will take on interior challenges so more in the Shumate size and mold. Doesn't have a specific skill set. Not really a 3 point shooter, not really a banger, not a jump out of the gym athlete, not a true guard-just a guy with some height and energy who is pretty efficient and wins. He may be considered under-recruited but he was just named to the supreme 15 team of top players in Indiana regardless of division or class, which is a pretty big honor. 2 time state champ. i don't know exactly how he fits in but just one of those guys who finds a way to contribute and make the team better.

I could see him behind Milner next year. Similar size, not as athletic. Jacobi can play a wing similar to the old SMall Forward or 3 and some 4 against certain teams.
