Hey that's my school!

Half of the Elite Eight is the Big Ten and since Wisconsin and Minnesota are playing at least one Big Ten team will be playing in the Final Four. Purdue and Nebraska are playing but both are playing true road games. I'd root for Nebraska but they beat my Illini and you know how I feel about them. I also have a cousin that graduated from Texas.

Congrats to Wisconsin on their Final Four trip. Two Big 10 teams in the Final Four. Of course only one is really a Big 10 team (well Pittsburgh should be )

And the Final Four will be at a Big Ten site: Columbus, Ohio.

Yikes, no offense to Pitt, but Nebraska brings a lot more to the conference.

Final Four is at Nationwide Arena, Columbus Ohio. It's where the Columbus Blue Jackets play and the Arena District has plenty to offer for the visitors.

I guess I can see why culturally Nebraska is not viewed as being 'really a Big 10 team'. But for the most part the fans are happy to be a part of the conference (and I'm sure the school administrators are very happy to a part of it). Culturally we fit better in the Big 8, but less so in the Big XII and less so again in the B1G. But looking at where the landscape is at now, we're so lucky to not be left with Iowa State and Kansas State wondering if our conference will be P5 in a few years. So hopefully we'll become more like our B1G brothers overtime and we won't seem like such an outlier in a few years.
And hopefully we can beat Pitt on Thursday.

Don't let schmolik get to you, he's a blowhard that makes little sense. Hell, for the BIG/ACC Challenge he did a thread in the ACC Forum for picking games. Why would a Penn State/Illini gal start a thread there rather than the BIG Forum?

Maybe if you'd spend more time in here with some interesting threads it might get a little more busy.

You constantly brag whenever you can about the Big Ten conference yet post nothing meaningful here. That's why I mentioned it.

You've degraded certain schools non stop. I've just let it go, but it's getting old so that's why I used "gal" along with Illinois and Penn State. If you're a man than act like one. If you want to talk sh!t then you better be prepared to receive criticism.
