Conference USA has four teams in the tourney:

LaTech (national seed #11)
Charlotte (#2 at ECU/#6 regional, opposite LaTech's)
ODU (#2 at Vandy/#1 regional)
USM (#2 at Ole Miss/#5 regional)

TCU is national seed #3, Texas Tech/#4 & Notre Dame/#7.

Stanford is #3 at UT-Austin/#10 regional, which also includes Louisiana and the all-time college baseball winners (Fordham).

Sigh.

This weekend vs. LaTech is likely to be ugly. Very ugly.

How have we fall into this level? I remember when LaTech was a guaranteed weekend sweep. What is there to be done?

16 of our remaining 24 CUSA games are against those 4 CUSA teams.
1 of our remaining non-conference games is against UT.

Reflecting the impact of the Rice Investment, which gets us back closer to a level footing with programs like Baylor, TCU, and LSU.

I just hope they get coached by somebody who can develop their talent properly.
