It will be interesting to see what his staff looks like. Of course he is in charge now and will pick the people he feels most comfortable and wants to work with. Wonder if he holds onto Bradford as well?

Enjoyed his pizazz. I think doctor said that if Shay is transparent during his tenure he will be successful. Looks like we have that with Oliver

No idea about Battle's status but they are removing coaches quickly, all the support staff are still there.

Welcome Coach Oliver, loved the press conference. Good luck , hope you get it done and can change things quickly

We’re lucky to have this guy as our coach. It’s a shame things went down like they did but we’re ending up with a more dynamic leader for the program. Shay deserved better but my gut feeling about midway through the past year was that we were not going to elevate the program under his watch. Coach Oliver has to know the challenge in front of him is huge. He certainly looks up to it.

Yes. I think he will go into the community and educate and bring them into the Buc corner. I have learned a lot about our coach during the last 24 hours and it looks positive now.

I don't think this has been posted but it's a Q&A with both Coach Oliver and Coach Harris. Both coaches are impressive here. I agree we are lucky to have Oliver, I didn't think we'd be able to pull a hire like him off after everything that happend. At the 25 minute mark Oliver did mention he would be talking to Battle about possibly staying on the staff.

That’s great. He seems to have everything it takes. Everything is still raw but I truly, truly hope that somehow ETSU can be a leader in bringing all sides together. We all need to be better.

Hearing him talk I see why this guy can kill it in the living rooms during recruiting. Selling a program to mom and/or dad is half the battle.
