Rice and Western Kentucky will be meeting in the tournament finals tomorrow. Both teams are ranked (WKU is undefeated on the season and Rice is coming off an upset over previously undefeated #2 Texas). Both teams swept the quarterfinal and semifinal matches.

I really hope both teams are comfortably in the NCAA tournament regardless of what happens tomorrow. Most pundits seem to think that is the case (even though the NCAA is only taking 48 teams in the tournament this year - so 18 at-larges). But this is CUSA, so it wouldn't shock me if the ACC for instance gets 4 bids (which they don't deserve - Rice and WKU are better than any ACC team outside of Louisville perhaps).

BTW - it would be hard to think of another conference sport right now with two better CUSA teams than these two in volleyball.

Two very strong teams that deserve to play post season regardless of who wins the CUSA championship

Don't have the specifics but the WKU Lady TOPPERS take down the Lady Owls of Rice 3-1 in the finals of the CUSA volleyball tournament today. The Lady TOPPERS go to an undefeated 21-0 and I believe Rice finishes at 16-5. Rice deserve an at-large invite to the NCAA tournament.

Conference gets two teams so congrats to both.

Western Kentucky got screwed a bit by not being a top 16 seed (and getting a first round bye). But they get a bye of sorts by facing Jackson State in the first round, although that's a battle of two unbeatens lol (Jackson State is 11-0). Winner gets #15 seed Washington State (who didn't deserve that seed over WKU).

Rice gets NC AT&T in the first round - they're 11-1 and winners of 11 straight. But they lost to East Carolina (who was 4-8 on the year) and had some tough 5-set wins late in the year. Winner of that match gets #13 Penn State (who a lot of people also felt didn't deserve a top 16 seed).

Let's hope both CUSA teams win their first two matches!!

We did it to Texas but couldn’t repeat the feat against WKU.
