Id love to ink a series with the MAC or SB that year too. Maybe someone like Toledo, GA Southern or Troy.

Why Marshall and Toledo haven't met since we left the MAC is almost criminal. The MAC battles were epic in fashion.

Marshall doesn't do many one and dones. We now have 2 on the schedule in the next 6 years, we travel to Notre Dame next year (2022) and to Penn State in 2026. I don't mind doing one every 4-6 years but don't want to do like some G5s do and do one or even two every year. You can never have sustained success that way and there are to many H/H out there and good AD can sign. Doing one or two per year is just selling yourself out to pay for your program.

It's a payday game plain and simple, if they can Penn St. will hang 70 on Marshall.

Ohio U went up to PSU in 2012 and won 24-14.

More of a One and Done, Bye Game usually means you have no chance and just taking the money for a game.

At least we have schedules that look decent in the next few years with H/H Appy State, VA Tech, Navy, Army, Bowling Green, Western Michigan and ECU. With one and dones with Notre Dame and Penn State.

SMU biggest game in the next 7 years is at Maryland and a H/H with Vanderbilt. The OOC schedule is more than BLAH and for the most part is a snooze fest.

I doubt Coach Huff will be here in 2026. So it really won't matter. The only way Coach Huff is still here is he like a lot of us absolutely fell in love with Marshall and can't see himself anywhere else or he isn't that good and no one else wants him. I honestly just don't see either of those happening.

Please beat the crap out of PSU. I live in PA and can't stand the Blue and White pukes. If University Park dropped into a big sink hole I would not be upset.

Well honestly, that has been Hamrick’s (our AD) mantra as well. HOWEVER, if a G5 school gets a chance to play elite blue-bloods like Penn St. and Norte Dame, you take the one and done.

Whatever you have to say to make yourself feel better, go for it. Everyone in the AAC is in the same boat as every other NP5 and if you don't think so then you are just stupid. Even if the B12 blows up and you and a few others are plucked once you get to the blown up B12 it will not be a power conference. It will just be the new misfits of college sports with some very resentful people who were once in a power conference.
