Just FYI and for discussion, in case you haven't heard ...

Sean T. Frazier spent six years at Wisconsin until taking the VP/AD job at NIU in 2013.

I highly doubt STF would get it. He doesn't have much of a resume from his time here. A losing football and basketball program. Very minor facility upgrades since there have been no major renovations from the Master Plan from 5+ years ago. Declining attendances for NIU sports.

But, he can do a damn good used car salesman impression!

"Hey, used car nation! How's it going, used car fans?! Hey, have I got a great deal for YOU!!!"

I believe Alvarez’s first year at Wisconsin we played them, and won.

Maybe if STF had stayed in Madison he would have been the man at Wisconsin.

From what I have read Alvarez and others in the athletic administration are championing the current Assistant AD to get the job, although there is some thought that the Chancellor might want to conduct a national search.

No. NIU beat Wisconsin in 1988 when Don Morton was Wisconsin's head coach. Alvarez became the head coach in 1990.
