He definitely made the correct decision leaving EMU! Playing in the Sweet 16! Just hit a 3! #55 on Oregon St! Murphy didn't utilize him correctly! Murphy definitely could recruit! One positive!

The last two NCAA tournament games Silver has played meaningful minutes though!

Before the tourney, he played double digit minutes in 3 games this season vs D1 opponents

He has now played double digit minutes in the round of 32 and Sweet 16. Good for him!

Tariq has a very nice shooting stroke and yes Murphy could evaluate talent, you are 100% correct.

I liked him at EMU but let's face it he was a 6'5" slow front member of the 2-3 zone or an undersized wing on the backside. Murph had an established system that provided little room for deviation, Tariq was simply a square peg trying to fit into a round hole at EMU.
