MyBB NCAA Women's Tournament
The men outside of Ann Arbor choked but the women have at least done a good job in the NCAA Tournament.

Four teams have advanced to the Sweet 16:

#2 seed Maryland, the Big Ten Tournament champions

#4 seed Indiana

#5 seed Iowa

#6 seed Michigan

Iowa and Michigan are in the same regional, the River Walk regional, so there is no chance that all four Big Ten teams will make the Final Four (not that they all will anyway). Iowa's playing UConn in the next round so their odds look pretty slim. Iowa does have a freshman that is tied for the lead in scoring in the country (Caitlin Clark). ABC (or at least this guy (https://twitter.com/John_Fanta/status/13...9114222594) is advertising it as a battle of freshman on Saturday between Clark and UConn's Paige Bueckers. Michigan upset Tennessee and also has another tough task in Baylor.

Indiana also has a a tough Sweet 16 match in the Mercado Regional against #1 seed and ACC Tournament Champion North Carolina State.

Finally Maryland is in the HemisFair Regional and will either play #3 USC or #6 Texas, playing in their home state. The #1 seed in the HemisFair is South Carolina, SEC Tournament Champion.

Good luck to the ladies although to be honest I'm rooting for UConn!

RE: NCAA Women's Tournament
Bump for 2022.

Sweet 16 teams:
Wichita #3: Michigan (vs. #10 South Dakota)
Bridgeport #3: Indiana (vs. #2 Connecticut)
Spokane #4: Maryland (vs. #1 Stanford)
Spokane #6: Ohio State (vs. #2 Texas)

We won't talk about the chokers.
Looks like the Big Ten will have their hands full in the next round for the most part.

Congratulations to Michigan on their Elite 8 appearance. They did what no men's team could do. Good luck to the Wolverines vs. Louisville!
