Not saying the deck is stacked against us but Hamm was a NFL RB coach and that has to count for something.

So I'm not 100% sure what changed since I didn't memorize every player's rating, but somewhere NIU's recruiting class rating got a bump and is now ahead of Ball State @ 4th in the MAC.

There has been a new initial rating for CB Jacob Finley, from Ala.: 3* 0.8204. This is an extra 3* to the class and raises our overall average and now places NIU at #4 in the MAC ratings over BSU.

Signing day is this coming Wednesday so you would think a few more names will pop up soon.

Also WR Abasi Scott (Smith) from Savannah, GA has decommitted.

Makes sense. Not a lot of paths to the field early for guys on this roster. WR might be way more wide open next season though.

Can't find much on this guy. Seems like he was a relative unknown in the recruiting world. Maybe he was a walk-on offer.

Well signing day just got off to a really strong start, as RB Jaiden Credle has committed. Out of Columbus GA, he had offers from Ole Miss, Syracuse, UCF, ECU and South Alabama, and Eastern Michigan and Akron in the MAC

From what I've seen and heard, it's a stressful process. You hold out hope on a better offer, because you believe in yourself. But then they don't come, and offers you had pull out because they're signing up people. I would imagine the big names you see on his offer list, signed higher rated RBs and pulled his offer as a result.

For sure. I was thinking your scenario or he was having issues qualifying with grades and schools backed off and proceeded with other players thinking he would have to go JUCO.
