Also your "and it wasn't that close" is a dumb comment considering the lead reached 20 for the first time with 49 seconds left in the game and never went above 20 lol

I understand the metrics BS but Memphis trounced WSU who just had a Q3 loss to add enough confirmation to make a WSU bid far from safe.
Right but a single home game for Memphis doesn't override the lack of Q1 wins. And the Q3 loss that WSU had MIGHT matter... If Memphis didn't have a worse Q3 loss.

Honestly I wouldn’t feel that comfortable if I was Wichita. Memphis beats Wichita in every category other than the home win against Houston which we never had a shot at and we are close enough that they could give us the bid at your expense.

Normally I would say conference champs would make you safe but no one really believes you are the number 1 team in the conference even if you got the banner. Third or even fourth depending on smu. All the advanced metrics have Memphis way way ahead of Wichita. Net in the mid 60s and kenpom mid 70s certainly doesn’t make you safe. Memphis is now up to 38 kenpom. Neither does the eye test. Memphis missing key players etc.. I hope we both get in but being listed a team or two above Memphis in the brackets would make me nervous they don’t pull a switcharoo if Houston wins the finals.
I'm not comfortable that Wichita is in. I'm very comfortable that Wichita is above Memphis on the seed list.

Both deserve to get in.

Latest lunardi has Wichita last team in and Memphis second team out. I’m just saying you never know what’s gonna go on behind those doors. If they only look at q1 you are in over Memphis going away. But every single other thing could give them an excuse to swap us.

Cincinnati and Houston.

LOL. How big a wager you want to make that UC beats Houston tomorrow?

At least Cincinnati has better odds of winning the championship than Memphis. There is that.

Penny is now scouting Davidson and Belmont for the potential big game matchup next week on the Ocho.

That's one of your weaker efforts, lol.

Your D will smother Belmont.

LOL. You suck as a troll, and it's apparent you have forgotten how to have an intelligent rational debate with anyone. Must have retired from law already.

Feel free to run on, though. I'll go clip my fingernails now.

WSUs results based metrics are better than Memphis too. KPI and SOR. Both of those are on the team sheets. WSUs SOR is like 30 places higher too

Hopefully we both get in I just feel like we are pegged for 2 as a conference. So if cincy loses it’s going to come down to Memphis or Wichita. Never know what the committee is going to pretend to value more year to year. Never predictable for those last few in. If they wanted to make excuses for Memphis over Wichita they could.

Very true. Just in the past, single good wins was enough to move the needle.

Last non AAC bid stealer plays tonight. Wichita and Memphis really needs Colorado to beat Oregon State.

Good news to the Memphis fans around here. Your boy Josh Pastner just won the ACC tournament.

First ACC tournament title since 1993.

Just additional proof that the ACC is weak this year. But you'd never know it by the rankings. That's the built-in bias at work. Nice win for GT & Pastner but a sign nonetheless.

Big East will slip 3 to 4 teams in now that Georgetown won the Title Game with a 12 and 12 record. Nice comeback for Ewing and the boys after a long disastrous season. 04-cheers 02-13-banana 02-13-banana 02-13-banana COGS COGS COGS
