RE: Walker
Damn, that hurts but we could see that coming a mile away. It was all I could think of as I saw him torch UNC and make their guards look silly.

Anyway, I read the next season analysis and agreed with most of what was written. I thought this group could have been really special if they stayed together but knew there would be some losses and additions that changed the equation since that is life in the mid-majors (especially) these days. For the remaining players, Telfort will get even stronger and better I’m sure and Stucke will develop into a really productive player I bet. After that, can we get more out of Chris, Alex and Q with another offseason and non-conference schedule under the belts. That will be possibly the big question.

Yeah. I'm sure it was in the back of all of our minds...especially this year when players can transfer and not sit out a year. That is a big reason why more guys don't transfer. I hope that the sit out rule doesn't change. I never understood why the rule was changed for THIS year....supposedly because of Covid. OR, did the power schools push for it just to get a one year poaching opportunity?

Anyway, best of luck to Tyson. He's got the talent to showcase himself and play in arenas in front of thousands of cheering fans. We'll be okay.

RE: Walker
I needed some time to digest this loss.

Obviously, I'm not surprised that he decided to go to greener pastures... but I thought he'd give it one more year at NU before bolting.

This mid-major "minor leagues" for the Power 5's is just not a good thing for college hoops. But whatever...

I wish him all the best and I will follow where ever he lands.

A ton of teams interested in Tyson...

I was afraid that this was going to be the year. What a lot of players were hearing was , "If you transfer now you don't have to sit out for a year." If Tyson waited another year he would be a "sit one play one."

This would be what mid major basketball would be like without the sit out rule.

Jerry Stackhouse is the coach and they shoot a ton of 3’s.

But I agree, I can’t see him there.

I think Texas is now out of the picture. Shaka just left to coach Marquette.

Yep, and it looks like Tyson going to Michigan State.

Not confirmed yet, but that’s the word on the street.

RE: Walker
It'll be interesting to see how he fares at MSU. He'll be joining a point guard stable that now includes three four star guys and an incoming four star freshman.
