I do agree with him to an extent. I agree that not having games on TV probably does hurt with recruiting for the reason stated. It's hard to just flip to a game.
HOWEVER....
The Flo contract gives schools the option to put home games on local or regional television. Drexel had quite a few of their games on TV. Of the 11 Men's and Women's BB games played at the DAC this year, 7 of them were on NBC Sports Philadelphia (4 men's and 3 women's). And they had plans to put a lot more games on TV as well if they didn't all get cancelled.
Northeastern put a bunch of their home games on NESN.
JMU put their games on MASN, NBC Sports Washington, and their local MyTV affiliate.
W&M put their games on Cox Yurview.
Meanwhile, Elon, Delaware, Towson, Charleston, Hofstra, and UNCW all chose not to put their games on TV. So if fans of those schools are complaining about lack of TV coverage, that's their own schools fault, not the fault of the CAA or Flo.
