MAC WBB Tourney
If it is Wednesday already in the Midwest then today it is EMU / BG.

Crazy season. Teams have played between 14 - 20 games. EMU played a league low 14.

I have NO idea what to expect today.

Certainly when all the cylinders were firing early in conference play we look like the favorites. We certainly have the talent to pull an upset here.

Teams this March shouldn't be worn down. Nice rest from Saturday to Wednesday..

This game has real upset potential.

EMU 31 BG 21 At the half...

Good game. As the announcers indicated, lot of parity top to bottom....

And it shows. This is not really an upset in the making.

I honestly thought EMU would be one of the two tougher matchups BG could face, and it looked like I was right. Very good game from a tough EMU squad. Great job taking the 3 away from the Falcons for most of the game and keeping Fleming to 4 points before she got hurt. EMU is missing a couple good shooters from being a top-level MAC squad, especially with all that size and length. Today, it was obvious BG just wore them down (it’s generally part of their game plan.). Otherwise, fantastic performance from the Emus and I look forward to watching your program return to the MAC elite, with BG, of course!

I thought the BG coach's second half adjustment of taking it to the hoop each time to save time and draw fouls was brilliant as they slowly chipped away at EMUs lead. We will be,back next year for sure.
