That would be the biggest recruit ever.
Talk about sticking it to ND again if Fick could somehow pull this off!
His brother plays for ND and we only just started recruiting him while he has already taken multiples at OSU and ND...I'm guessing it's a VERY small chance, but apparently he played on a youth team growing up with Stephan Byrd and Johnathan Thompson, and obviously he has Tyler Gillison and CJ Doggette in his ears constantly as they're HS teammates. Worth a shot!

If you invite the pretty girl to the party, everyone's going to hit on her. I just wonder if Kelly doesn't back channel to get Cincy another game to try and settle the score. Advantage Fick & Co.

Choose Kentucky
4* Branden Bates: 2 catches, 18 yards 1 TD in 3 seasons
3* Keaton Upshaw: 23 catches, 276 yards, 2 TDs in 3 seasons
3* Justin Rigg: 31 catches, 361 yards, 3 TDs in 6 seasons
Choose Cincinnati:
3* Josh Whyle: 46 catches, 626 yards, 11 TDs in 3 seasons
4* Lenny Taylor: 43 catches, 440 yards, 4 TDs in 3 seasons
Come where you're utilized...(and where TEs actually get put into the NFL).

No idea which way this recruit swings but I do suspect that the strong recruiting combo of Stoops/Marrow may not be in place next season at UK. Yes, Kentucky can practically give coaches a blank check. But a job at USC or LSU means access to even better players and an easier road to the CFP than a program like UK. The Wildcats have traditionally been so far down the pecking order in this best conference ever that they will always be trying in vein to climb over a half dozen tradition rich programs to achieve a truly elite season.

Personally, I think Mark Stoops would be a PROBLEM at Penn State if Franklin leaves.

Trevor Carter, 4* LB from Ironton just committed...huge start to our '23 with the 'lowest' rated commit of the 3 so far sitting at an 87 (which would be #3 in the '22 class)

Could UC be on its way to the top recruiting class in the Big XII in the first season in the conference? Wow.

Just got a commit from a 2023 big ugly, Evan Tengesdahl, out of Dayton. UC legacy.

Nice...don't mind getting a few more OLmen early in the next class.

As you alluded to in your Class of 2022 post, the quality of OLineman that we're bringing in has gone up considerably and I feel like that began with some of the guys in the 2021 class. With most of our two deep returning next year, I feel we're finally at the point where quality depth will begin to take hold.

Yep...I think you've got to get to 8 interchangeable pieces on the OL to truly be "deep" in that position group. We are damn close this coming year, and I'd argue that there may not be much drop-off when the two seniors next year graduate and are replaced by some of these guys coming in. I genuinely could see Green being a 3-year starter with a Day 2 ceiling in the draft...he has that much of a great foundation to work on, and he will be the kind of frame that Brady is going to absolutely love working with in the weights.
